My OPI Delicates: Let Them Eat Rice Cake & Have A Tempura Tan-Trum
Pin It
I'm seriously fond of soft pale cremes and find myself grabbing for them more and more these days!!! I recently bought some Black Label OPIs from Head2Toe for a steal and they are beautiful!!!
Have A Tempura Tan-Trum is from the Japanese Collection; a very pale peach toned nude. It is so weird using the skinny brushes and thin formulas of the non-3 Free OPIs! I ended up with a full and even coverage after three thin coats.
Let Them Eat Rice Cake is also part of the Japanese Collection. It is a cool toned nude that leans slightly taupe/pink-purple. I needed three thin coats here too.
I ADORE these both! But perhaps Let Them Eat Rice Cake just edges out Have A Tempura Tan-Trum?
I have to get Miso Happy With This Color now to complete the set!!!!
Would you choose a nude over something bold or bright?

kkcenterhk review: 2mm Circle Gold Studs
Pin It
I tried out a spiral pattern using these gold studs from kkcenterhk:
I applied these using nail glue and a rhinestone picker wax pencil. I like the 2mm size, they're better suited to my little nails, but you can also get 4mm sized studs if you like the chunk or have larger nail beds.
Compared to standard rounded studs these are more yellow and much more rounded as opposed to flattened. I didn't like them with top coat, but that might have just been poor application on my part.
I'm wearing Mod Lacquer Majestic with this look. It would've been cool to add swirl stamps to my pinkie and index fingers to make the look more cohesive!
Kkcenterhk have provided my readers with a 10% off discount code NPA10, be sure to utilise it the next time you place an order:

Color Club Halo Hues: Beyond, Cosmic Fate & Cherubic
Pin It
The urge to blog has just not been there lately, which is why I've been patchy and MIA with the posts :(
I just don't really have anything to say and I'm loathe to just post swatches without any words. Maybe that'll have to change?
Hope all of you are doing swell though!!! I've got some Color Club holos to show you today.
First off, Beyond is a black linear holo. It's not as grey as the photos betray, but it isn't anything like a jet black either. It is moderately strongly holographic though.
Cosmic Fate is a copper-peach hued linear holo. Check out the flash photo, seriously prismatic! She might actually be one of the strongest holos I own.

Color Club Cherubic
Cherubic is a nude/beige metallic holographic which is insanely prismatic also. I love these coloured holos, they feel office appropriate, yet I get that giddy feeling wearing them because a rainbow is never far away!
The formula for all of these is fantastic; buttery with absolutely zero dragging or unevenness to deal with. You can get away with one coat if you're in a hurry and I used two for the photos.
