Farmers has Orly Buy 1 Get 1 Free on at the moment so I took the opportunity to get a couple of the Holiday Soiree polishes. Here is Au Champagne; the prettiest white there ever was!

Au Champagne is the most beautiful delicate white shimmer I've ever seen. I have to admit I wasn't a fan of the formula though. It dries matte and was pretty uneven until the third coat. I had to put on some shiny top coat to make it look nice. The finished product was worth it. Perhaps I just need to take more care applying it next time? On the sunny side, it dries quickly.

This is sort of a substitute for the white Kardashian polish I can't get my hands on. I wonder how they compare IRL?

This is 3D, a gold with fine scattered holo shimmer and irregular flake-like holo chunks. The sun was a bit obstructed the day I took these photos but it's still one of the weakest holos from this collection. Quite soft and pretty if you're into that. I'm not sure if I am...

Not sure if you get the title - Hello:Holo - get it now? HOLLO!

Today I have 3 of the HITS No Olimpio holographic collection polishes - Apolo, Hera & Hestia.

I'd never heard of Hestia before so I looked her up & turns out she's pretty unimportant; first dauaghter of Cronus & Rhea - Goddess of the Hearth... bored?
She's oh so beautiful though - a lilac holo

Apolo - indoor natural light

Apolo God of many, many things namely, the Sun. He's a beautiful medium-dark blue holo. Wow!

Hera is another daughter of Rhea & Cronus. She is Goddess of Women & Marriage - not a good role model since she became her brother Zeus' third wife, GROSS! Ha ha. The peacock was sacred to her which is perhaps why HITS named this GOURGEOUS sea green/teal holo for her.

I wore 3 coats for all the pics because they are a bit jelly/creme like. I think I could have gotten by with only 2 coats if it weren't for the photos. Application was a dream! They come with a really wide, flat brush so 1-2 swipes was enough to cover my little nails. They dry pretty darn fast too.

How did HITS manage such an awesome holo formula, you may ask? They are NOT 3 Free. I have absolutely no problem with that myself, but I'm sure there are lots of people who do care what chemicals are in their polishes. So if you are one of them stay clear.

Myself? I can't get enough and Llarowe has all the colours in stock now for US$10 each, so get in quick before they are gone!!!!

This was yesterday's Nail of the Day (NOTD)

This is 2 coats of Orly Pure Porcelain and stamping with Bundle Monster plate BM-224 using Orly Frolic. I added silver dots with China Glaze Millenium, blue dots with OPI Swimsuit ... Nailed It! & purple holo glitter dots with Color Club Too Violet.

Not sure if I like it or not, the stamping pattern might be a bit too girly/teenage for me. From a distance it looked like nail wraps though so that was pretty cool! My Nana said "Oh, God" in an iffy way when she saw them, haha.
